Festival of balloons in the White Church on August 24-26

The young festival - "Alexandria extravaganza" was first held in 2017. This year the event is planned to be more ambitious, since the Alexandria Park, in which balls are launched during the festival, celebrates its 225th anniversary. In addition, the festival will be held on Independence Day and will be the central event of the White Church.

The only ballooning event with balloon launches from Alexandria Park. Such exciting flights are only once a year!

From the basket of the balloon you can see the park "Alexandria" the way the birds see it - the Colonnade "Echo", the pavilion "Rotonda", the Chinese bridge, the Ruins, the intricate picture of the park paths, the lakes and, of course, the Ros. The flight passes over the White Church, behind each balloon follows an escort vehicle. After the flight, all the crews return to the original meeting point - to the entrance to the park "Alexandria".

"Alexandria Fairy" is becoming a traditional aeronautical event - we hope that the festival will become an annual event and attract even more people wishing to enjoy the beauty of the White Church!
