The idea to create a miniature sculpture of the Ghost of Kyiv arose in the early days of the invasion of the Russian occupation forces, when there were reports of a Ukrainian military ace pilot. Later it became known that this is a composite image of the fighters of the 40th tactical aviation brigade, protecting the sky over the capital and the Kyiv region.
