Priberezhny Park in Kyiv is already open

"Friends! Priberezhny Park in Berkovshchyna Bay in the capital's Darnytskyi district is already accepting visitors," Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klychko announced.

This year, the city planned to complete the first round of major repairs. But the war made adjustments and we had to postpone the full completion of the works. But we implemented most of the planned tasks of creating a comfortable recreation area. And the people of Kyiv are already resting in a beautiful and modern park on the banks of the Dnipro Bay.

The total area of the park is 7.54 hectares. The first stage of major renovation covered the territory of 2.22 hectares.
On the territory of the green zone, pedestrian and bicycle paths were built, benches and bins were installed, and four modern playgrounds (inclusive, for younger ages, older ages, and a playground with cable structures) were also equipped, as well as a sports field. There is another zone for children - on a green hill artificially created with the help of geoplastics.

The shores along the bay have been strengthened and equipped with a coastal zone with comfortable benches for relaxation.
